Human Library approved as not for profit

We are proud to announce that the Human Library Organization has been recognized as a not for profit in its purpose by the Danish Tax Authority.

This means that our association does not have to pay tax from voluntary contributions and other income that our activities create. Leaving us with more funds to do our work.

The additional resources will enable us to establish more infrastructure around the world in the form of Human Library book depots that are operated by the Human Library Organization.

Other organizations in Denmark that are approved as non-profit organizations include Danish Church Aid, the Danish Society for Nature Conservation, the World Wildlife Fund and the Danish Consumer Council.
